Adventurers Alliance

Headquarters: Silvermond

The Adventurer’s Alliance is a guild dedicated to the pursuit of rare treasure and glory. They are always on the lookout for the most dangerous and hardest-to-find treasures in Veldus, and the local chapters of the Alliance hold the key to finding them. They are the keepers of local lore and provide leads to the greatest treasures hidden within the region.

But the Alliance is not just about treasure hunting, it also serves as a social gathering space for adventurers. Only members are allowed entrance into a local chapter, and it’s like a club where people can come and share their stories, reminisce about the good old days, and plan for new adventures. Most chapters provide a meeting place for active adventurers to gather parties for treasure hunting.

The members of the Adventurer’s Alliance are a jolly and eager bunch, always ready for a new adventure. Their rugged exterior is a testament to the dangers they’ve faced and the glory they’ve earned. They are a brotherhood of treasure hunters, united in their love of adventure and the thrill of discovery. They are always ready to set out on a new quest, driven by the promise of wealth, glory and the thrill of adventure.

Membership

You can only become a member of the Adventurer’s Alliance by invitation of an Quartz or higher ranking member. You must present a malachite gem (or something of equal value) to a guild hall. Your name will be etched into the gem.

Moving forward, that gem will serve as a membership badge in the guild and verification of rank.

Revenue

Guild halls charge viewing fees for the public to view items on display. Viewing fees vary by value of item on display.

Ranks

  1. Diamond, 50,000+ pts

  2. Emerald, 5,001 - 50,000 pts

  3. Topaz, 1,001 - 5,000 pts

  4. Amethyst, 501 - 1,000 pts

  5. Quartz, 101 - 500 pts

  6. Malachite, 0 - 100 pts

Everyone joins at the rank of Malachite. Submitting items to the guild will earn members a certain number of points.

When a member has earned enough points to rank up, they need to present a gem of the next rank (or equal value) to a guild Hall Master who is a higher rank than them. For instance, when an Amethyst has earned at least 1,000 points they can present a Topaz gem to a guild Hall Master of rank Topaz or higher.

Each rank infers new priviliges on a member, as well as keeping all priviliges of lower ranks. For instance, obtaining the rank of Amethyst provides access to the Veldus Teleportation Services.

Gaining Rank

Earning guild points is the only way to qualify for a higher rank. Members can submit* treasure to their local guild hall for a certain amount of points. The more unique and valuable the item, the more points it will earn.

*By submitting treasure for points, the member is entering a contract that temporarily hands over ownership of the item to The Guild for 3 years and the member forfeits all rights to any business opportunities the item may provide during that time.
