Among the highest passes of White Peaks lies Stone Hollow, home of Clan Gildkin.

Convienently positioned for sending merchants to both sides of the mountain divide has created flouirishing trade. Primarly exporting fine goldwork and mastercrafted tools, weapons, and armor. Caravans follow estabilished trade routes north to Dynntium and south to Belrd. While most Gildkin merchants dont go farther south than Beldrium; their wares can be found even in distant Thane.

This extensive trading network provides information as well, giving Stone Hollow advantages during negotiations and war. Maintaining stable relations with neighboring Dwarven clans is accomplished through a combination of bribery (with fine gold wares and exotic traded goods) and a formidible army (outfitted in the finest armor and weapons crafted locally by generational masters).

A thriving artisan community produces a huge variety of traditional and exotic goods. Tools, jewelry, and stonework are commonplace in any dwarven society; and thanks to the steady supply of trade goods, fine woodworking, tapestries, and even culinary fusions unique to Stone Hollow can be found.

Increasingly deep delve mining provides a steady stream of valuable metals which form the basis of Stone Hollow’s economy. At these depths intrusion by Duergar are common which provide the army ample opportounity for training and refinement.
